Four Pillars Laboratory by YSG
Four Pillars Laboratory in Surry Hills, Sydney, is the flagship store and bar of Four Pillars, the 2019 International Gin Producer of the Year. Inspired by a ripe juniper berry, the bar is blue concrete with warm timber and copper accents, with lighting to accentuate the materials and mood.
Four Pillars Laboratory, designed by YSG, distils the essence of Four Pillars: attention to detail, passion for the craft and love of hospitality. Comprising Eileen’s Bar, the Gin Lab and retail store, it is robust and tactile interior with the gin takes centrestage.
Evoking the clandestine feel of a 1920s speakeasy, Eileen’s Bar and the Gin Lab are accessed via a separate side entrance where four Mini Radi Inground Uplights are cast into the concrete step.
